My Theme for 2018: What I Want to Share

Hey guys! It’s been a while since I last posted a blog.

So I liked my theme last year since I had a lot to write about it so I’m gonna make it very similar.  This time my theme will be more in-depth with analyzing and reviewing the songs.  So you might just say I didn’t change it, but its fine. Anywho, time for the song!

‘Lullaby’ by GOT7

So ‘Lullaby’ is the title track from the newest album from GOT7. The song has a lot of different versions which are English, Spanish, Chinese, and Instrumental.  The song is a love song about a guy who can’t get a girl out of his head.  If you want to watch the music video click here.

‘Lullaby’ became one of my favorites after listening to it once.  It’s such an amazing song and I love the choreography.  I love almost all of GOT7’s songs and this one is no exception.  The chorus is super catchy and that makes me love it even more.  The music video is really amazing, my bias, Yugyeom, is the main dancer so he gets a lot more screentime than if he wasn’t.  I love all the outfits and scenes they show in it.

So if you haven’t seen my previous GOT7 posts, GOT7 is a seven-membered South Korean boy group, from JYP Entertainment.  Their fandom name is IGOT7 or Ahgase, which means baby bird in Korean.  They debuted June 16th 2014.  There are four Koreans, one Thai, one American, and one Chinese. Their names are JB, Mark, Jackson, Jinyoung, Youngjae, Bambam, Yugyeom.

The American one is in purple
The Chinese one is in sea green
The Thai one is in grayish blue

The three foreigners can speak English fluently, and the others can speak basic English.  If you want to learn more about GOT7 click here

Okay, that’s gonna be it for this blog. Thank you for reading if you did, and byeee!

My Final Post of the School Year

Hey, guys, this post will be the last one of the school year and I’m really excited for summer. Are you? Comment if you are. Now let’s get to the questions!

1. What did you enjoy most this school year?

I enjoyed a lot of things this school year, but I think I enjoyed hanging out with my friends.  School is important but without the people in your class, the school day would be as boring as boring gets.  There were a bunch more enjoyable moments/things this school year that I can’t even list.

2. What would you have changed if you could redo this school year?

I would probably change how much effort I put in this year.  I procrastinated a lot and didn’t do that well this year. I made it on the honor roll all three trimesters but I know if I worked harder I might have made it further. Next school year I’ll try to work harder so I can work to the best of my abilities.

3. What are you looking forward to next school year?

I have a lot of things to look forward to in 8th grade, like the Japan Study Tour. I also look forward to the Challenger Mission too.  It’ll be a little scary being the oldest in school and all the pressure of being role models for the younger grades.

Thanks for reading my last blog of the school year, byee!!!

SBC Week 9: My TOP 10 Favorite K-Pop Groups!

Hey guys, today I’ll be listing my top 10 favorite K-Pop groups. Okay, let’s start with number 10.

Number 10
VIXX

Number 10 is VIXX because Raya would kill me if I didn’t include them.  I only really like one of their songs ‘Chained Up’.  My favorite era is Hyde because they looked emo and wore black makeup, and Raya hates that era. If you wanna see more VIXX stuff check here.

Number 9
Day6

Day6 is 9th because they have amazing vocals, and they all play instruments.  They are one of the only bands I know and Jae is hilarious.  All of them are amazing, but the youngest can’t sing but he’s getting lessons.  If you want to hear more from Day6 check here.

Number 8
Monsta X

I put Monsta X at 8th because I love their music and their personalities, but I haven’t gotten completely attached to them(thank god) yet.  I love their vocals and dances.  If you wanna see more of Monsta X check here

Number 7
Red Velvet

I put Red Velvet at number 7 because they have a lot of talent.  Originally, Red Velvet’s debut album was leaked so they debuted early and they weren’t ready.  Everyone thought they were a flop but they worked hard to prove themselves, and now they’re one of the most popular girl groups in Korea.  If you wanna see Red Velvet facts check here.

Number 6
Stray Kids

Okay, so there’s one main reason that Stray Kids got pretty high on the list… Felix. He was my favorite when I watched the survival show they had.  He originally got eliminated from the top 7 winners, but the fans loved the two who got eliminated so they got back in.  The other reason is their talent and their songs. If you wanna see more Stray Kids facts look here.

Number 5
EXO

EXO was one of the first groups I got into after I started getting into K-Pop.  All of their songs are amazing. All of the members worked extremely hard to get where they are today, at the top of K-Pop boy groups.  If you wanna learn more about EXO check here.

Number 4
Wanna One

Originally I would have put EXO as fourth, but I got really attached to Wanna One after I watched Produce101.  Unfortunately, they will be disbanding in December of this year.  I wanna make the most of their time together, and I’m sure they feel the same. If you wanna see more about Wanna One check here.

Number 3

Seventeen

Seventeen gets third because I love them but there’s too many of them.  I mean 13 isn’t a lot a lot. heh heh… Okay maybe it is a lot but they are a self-producing idol group, which means they write, compose, produce, and choreograph all their own music. If you wanna learn more about Seventeen look here.

Number 2

Got7

I put Got7 as second because I love their teamwork and how close they are to each other.  Their songs are so amazing and they’re all crazy and I love them all <3 If you wanna learn more about Got7 check here.

Number 1

BTS

Okay, this is self-explanatory.  They were the first group I found, so they hold a special place with me.  BTS is an amazing group, from their vocals to their choreography.  I love their songs, their dances, and their personalities.  They deserve all the love and awards they have received, and they deserve even more. If you want to see more about BTS look here.

Okay, that’s all for this post, if you want to check out all the groups you can find them on KProfiles

SBC Week 5: Seventeen

Hey, guys! I’m back with SBC Week 5: Free Choice.  My topic is Seventeen! So let’s get into it!

Seventeen is a 13-member South Korean boy group formed by Pledis Entertainment in 2015.  The group is divided into three sub-units, Vocal Unit(singers), Hip-Hop Unit(rappers), and Performance Unit(dancers).  They create everything from their discography to their choreography, which gave them their nickname ‘self-producing idol group’.  From oldest to youngest here is all the members(real names and ages): Jeonghan(23), S.Coups(Seungcheol 23), Joshua(23), Jun(22), Hoshi(Soonyoung 22), Wonwoo(22), Woozi(Jihoon 22), DK(Seokmin 22), Mingyu(22), The8(Minghao 21), Seungkwan(21), Vernon(Hansol 21), Dino(Chan 20).  I’ll make the unit leaders bold, the Chinese members red, and the American members blue. Also if you want to learn more about Seventeen, I suggest you look at their Member Profiles.

Seventeen debuted with their song ‘Adore U‘, go check it out! Their latest comeback was ‘Thanks‘.  They have a lot of other awesome songs so make sure to check out other songs that you might see.  Some ones that I recommend are ‘Boom Boom‘ and ‘Clap‘.  All the songs they have released have been written and produced by one of their members, Woozi, he is the shortest member at 5’5.  Their tallest member, Mingyu is way taller than him at 6’1!

The vocal unit has five members while the hip-hop unit and performance unit have four each.(Sub —> Lead —> Main).  The vocal unit consists of, Woozi(unit leader, songwriter and composer, lead vocalist), Jeonghan(lead vocalist), Joshua(lead vocalist), DK(main vocalist), Seungkwan(main vocalist).  The hip-hop unit consists of, S.Coups(leader  and unit leader, main rapper, vocalist), Wonwoo(lead rapper, sub vocalist), Mingyu(lead rapper, sub vocalist, visual), Vernon(main rapper, vocalist).  And lastly, the performance unit consists of, Jun(lead dancer, sub vocalist), Hoshi(unit leader, main dancer, choreographer, lead vocalist, sub rapper), The8(lead dancer, sub vocalist, rapper), Dino(main dancer, sub vocalist, lead rapper, maknae** it means the youngest in a group **.
Vocal = Amber
Hip-Hop = Sea Green
Performance = Purple

Thank you for reading, I hope you decide to check them out! Bye!
