Hey everyone! I’m back again with my Favorite Song of the Week! So this weeks song is…

Exo’s song ‘For Life’ is a slow sad yet somehow warming song that is also sorta festive. It was a part of their ‘Sing For You’ album which had a wintery theme. The song was a chillingly emotional one that will warm you when you read the lyrics. I love all of Exo’s songs but this one is very special to me, whenever I hear it playing I can’t help but sing along.
The song is about a guy who only loves that one girl and he will give everything to her because she’s his everything in life. He doesn’t want to be with anyone but her even if they are reborn, and he wants to protect her and stay by her side for life. The lyrics are really touching and the melody is completely amazing and fits the wintery theme so well.
If you haven’t read my previous posts about Exo, I’ll explain who Exo is and why I love them so much. Exo is a formerly 12 membered group that debuted from S.M. Entertainment in 2012. They now only have nine members but one is promoting his solo career, their names, including the former members, are: (in age order) Xiumin, Lu Han, Kris Wu, Suho, Lay, Byun Baekhyun, Chen, Park Chanyeol, D.O., ZiTao, Kai, and Sehun. Hey guys I am back with this weeks Favorite Song of the Week! So let’s get right to it. This weeks favorite song is…
‘Beautiful‘ by Wanna One!
Wanna One is a new 11 member group formed by the survival tv show ‘Produce101’. There were 101 trainees participating including them, and they managed to get the top 11 spots and debut as a group. Sadly, December of this year they are going to disband and go back to their original companies. There is going to be another season of it around the time of their disbandment.

I’ll explain their rankings from number 1-11. First was Kang Daniel, then Park Jihoon, Lee Daehwi, Kim Jaehwan, Ong Seongwoo, Park Woojin, Lai Guanlin, Yoon Jisung, Hwang Minhyun, Bae Jinyoung, and finally Ha Sungwoon. Some of them were in groups prior to participating and two of them made it in. If you want to see more facts about the members check here.
‘Beautiful’ is a great song that changes tempo from the beginning to the chorus. The lyrics have so much meaning to them and they are beautiful(not intended). I love the song because of its melody and choreography. They also made a movie version where they acted out a story with the music. Wanna One is only going to be here for so long so if you have spare time go check them out, you won’t regret it. <3
